The Zalando Sans typeface is a variable font that ranging from Condensed Extra Light to Expanded Black. This versatility allows us to meet a wide variety of design needs. Below is an overview of the available weights.

The Zalando Sans typeface includes a diverse range of characters, covering everything from the standard Latin set to Latin Extended. It has been meticulously designed to meet Zalando’s unique requirements, ensuring flexibility from precise formats to support for multiple languages.

Text sizes should follow a defined scale to ensure proper contrast and address internal needs. The recommended scale offers a standardised range of sizes while allowing flexibility for specific requirements.

Across both brand and digital touchpoints, sizes are guided by the same principles, using increments of 4 and/or 8. While it’s possible to base the scale on a different starting point, it’s essential to recalculate the scale accordingly.

Keep the number of type sizes in an application minimal and avoid using sizes that are too close in value to maintain clarity and consistency.
