They serve as a foundation for the Zalando brand in motion and work to unify the brand expression across all digital channels as well as build brand recognition over time. We have created an intro and an outro that encapsulates the "Press Play on Style" concept. This signature motion creates an ownable and distinctive brand moment for Zalando. A brand mark animation to reflect our purpose, supporting the different stories and experiences we create for our audiences, and adding a new dimension to our logo experience.

Secondary intro
There will be some contexts where our ‘intro’ assets cannot be used, either due to limited duration or due to restrictions where we need footage to be visible from the first frame.
For these occasions, we have a secondary brand mark intro that is more compact. Please select these assets only when the ‘intro’ assets do not suit the context.

Word mark and word mark with claim animation
Our word mark is our most immediate communicator of our brand. Its very essence says we are Zalando. We recommend the word mark be included in all our moving content. For this reason, we have developed a subtle and functional word mark animation that can be used across all formats independently of subject matter.

Masthead in motion
When utilising a large-scale word mark as a masthead for campaign materials in motion, always use a hard cut to reveal the masthead. Never animate or fade on the word mark itself. Always ensure that the clear space around it aligns with the canvas margin.
It is permissible to obscure part of the word mark, provided the word mark always remains recognisable during the full time it is shown. Avoid fully obscuring any one specific character; instead refer to the outlined safe and sensitive zones below, along with the provided examples.
